A university professor holding a chair in Contemporary Culture might say that, in the U.S., the '60s have come to represent more of an epoch than a mere decade. Certainly, what greeted us the morning of Jan. 1, 1960, was much different from what we bid farewell to on Dec. 31, 1969...

The rarest '60

The rarest 1960 Cadillac is the Eldorado Brougham, as only 101 were built. Bodies were made by hand in Turin, Italy, by Pininfarina and installed on stock chassis' shipped from Detroit. Then the completed vehicles were shipped back to the United States...
